Offered for sale is a Ca. 1950 folk art ship in a Haig bottle by Winson Morrill (1924-2018) of Hamilton, Mass. Label on bottom of piece. The paddle wheeler and background show a great level of detail and the boats banner reads “Morrill Lines Hamilton”.

Mr. Morrill contracted polio at age 7 and lost the use of his right arm and shoulder. A skilled craftsman, he created over 4,000 ships in bottles, many using wood from historic buildings and ships. He was featured in Yankee  Magazine and the TV program, Chronicle. The piece measures approx. 8” long by 5” wide.
