Christmas Shoe

A handmade Christmas ornament of a woman sitting in a shoe, measuring 6 1/4″ wide and 4 3/4″ high.  The woman was made from lithographed paper and the shoe was made from gold foil paper imported from Dresden, Germany, which was glued onto cardboard and embellished with paper lace.  It retains the original string hanger and has wear and loss commensurate with age.  It descended through the Baltimore, Maryland family that made it in the 1870s or 1880s.

Returns are accepted for one month after the receipt of the item.  The buyer pays the return insured shipping cost.
