For your consideration is this vintage WWII US Army Signal Corps Bausch & Lomb binoculars with original leather compass case and leather straps. The Signal Corps was responsible for the communications during the war. Binoculars are marked “30mm Apert. Prism Stereo 6 Power, Serial Number EE 86410. Everything seems to be in fine working order. There is some provenance to the piece. The hand writing on the bottom of the leather case details the owner; “Major E. T. Sherburne, 1st Army Hd. Qrts. Reg’t, U.S.A.” The binoculars were made in the USA by the Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. of Rochester, NY. The set is in very good overall condition. There is some wear to the leather case with some loose stitching on the top cover. #30634
